I swear I just cleaned the entire house and it is time to do it again. How did it get so dirty. Ughhh, the never ending story. I really don't want to do it.

Logan was walking around this morning after breakfast trying to find Papa to show him that he ate all of his meal. "Look Papa, Look.....It's all gone."

Outside Fun

Today we played outside for an hour or so. Logan enjoyed playing bubbles with Bruce - Bruce would run around and eat the bubbles - while Adi just sat and watched it all. FUN!

Tornado warning fun

Down to the basement we went. I heard parts of Mahomet lost power, but ours didn't even flicker. We will see any damage tomorrow once the sun comes up. I did hear a lady was trapped in her car under the Vine St viaduct in Urbana - rain up to her headlights.

Naked Potty Training

Today I started the Custer method of potty training. So far so good, no accidents yet and we haven't used near as many diapers. Hopefully he will start to notice the feeling and it will help him tell us when he is ready - cross your fingers.

I also ran out of rollos for a treat when Logan goes to the bathroom, so I made yummy, toddler sized cookies (oatmeal toffee) and he decorated a container and we put them in together. Notice the container resembles the coffee container you recently brought home :)

Typical Night

So far so good on this typical night. Logan is in mama and papa's room watching Elmo (Peter and the Wolf.....maybe the worst Elmo movie ever, but he likes it) and Adi is already sleeping. Well, scratch that, here comes Logan checking out what Mama is doing and "wanting up".....now "needing up." Now he runs to the pantry, swings open both doors, I say careful, as he picks his dessert for the evening. No to the crackers, but yes for the cupcake. Cupcake it is. I swear I used to make him eat healthy, but oh well....it is only one.

This will be the first of hopefully many blogs. I am creating this with the specific purpose of connecting with my husband who is being deployed to Iraq in October. With this blog I hope to capture our everyday routines so that he can look in when he has time and not have to sift through emails to try and connect with us. He has one place to go to get it all. We are going to miss him like crazy, actually already do because he is currently gone a lot preparing to go, but hopefully this helps some of the heartache. Love you babe.
